What first brought you to Body Synergy?

I've been coming to Body Synergy for a long time. It all started about 20 years ago, when I first began seeing Rowan for an injured back. After taking some time off, I recently started going back to the gym, as I felt myself ageing in a way that made me unhappy. I was getting weaker, slower and was finding even the simplest parts of life physically challenging.

What do you like most about being part of Body Synergy?

My work is both mentally challenging and time-consuming, so what I love about the gym, aside from the people, is the structured and versatile approach to training. I know that every time I turn up, there will be interesting and challenging workouts that I can complete without having to think too much, yet I am confident that I am doing the best I can to work out according to my needs. These also allow me to choose the level I work out at the time, so it's always about how hard I want to work on a given day. I also really appreciate the team and their level of involvement in my well-being; I genuinely feel like they have my best interests at heart at all times.

How has Body Synergy made a difference in your life?

Since returning to the gym about 18 months ago, I feel like a completely different person. I have more energy, more positivity, and less fatigue and pain in my life. I can spend more time with my daughter doing the things she loves, and generally feel happier in life.

What would you say to someone thinking about joining?

I believe the quality of our life depends on the level of ability of our bodies. The team at Body Synergy takes the time to really know the people in their gym and works hard to help them achieve their goals. Anyone who feels like they need a little more energy and strength, but doesn't want to join a traditional gym, Body Synergy is a welcoming place for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about your experience?
